This year, the theme of ReConnecting resonated throughout the Robert College family. Across continents and generations, alumni, parents, students, faculty, and friends renewed relationships, forged new ones, and strengthened the bonds that make RC such a remarkable institution.
As the Institutional Advancement Team, we have the privilege of nurturing these relationships every day. Through alumni engagement, communications, fundraising, and new initiatives, we help create opportunities for future generations to benefit from a Robert College education.
This year, we saw inspiring examples of the commitment that defines our alumni and friends. Homecoming and gatherings across the United States and Europe brought people together once again. Donors continued to invest in the future of the school – some making transformational commitments, while many others contributed through gifts of every size – while volunteers generously shared their time, ideas, and expertise. Together, these contributions reaffirm what has always distinguished Robert College: enduring relationships rooted in a shared belief in the value and impact of an RC education.
Looking ahead, we are excited to launch new initiatives that will create even more opportunities for alumni to engage with one another and with the school. Alongside the RC Community Entrepreneurs Bond, featured in this issue, we are excited to introduce the RC Directory, an interactive platform designed to strengthen connections among alumni. We will also develop a new arts initiative that will bring together artists and art enthusiasts while supporting the school through the arts, offering a meaningful new way to collaborate, share ideas, and give back.
RC has always been enriched by alumni who generously volunteer their time, knowledge, and experience, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to each of them. If you have ever considered becoming more involved, I warmly encourage you to reach out. Whatever your expertise, interests, or stage of life, there are countless ways to contribute. Every new idea, shared skill, and helping hand helps ensure that RC’s legacy of excellence and generosity continues to thrive for generations to come.
Finally, I would like to thank the members of the RCQ Editorial Board whose service concluded this year for their dedication and invaluable contributions to this publication. I also extend a warm welcome to our new Editorial Board members, and I look forward to working together as we continue to build a community where every story strengthens our shared legacy and every connection helps shape Robert College’s future.
